MCA
MCA – one third of the Beastie Boys, a buddhist, a genius. What else to say? He left this world way to early.
Malcolm McLaren.
Malcolm McLaren is a truly multi-disciplinary artist – he had his roots in the heavy intellectually equipped SITUATIONIST INTERNATIONAL, a Dada-influenced art collective. He liked to say, he doesn't paint with brush, color and canvas but with rock bands, chaos and situations (he created). For me a truly radical mind that influences me to this day.
Mac Miller
Mac Miller, another member of the sad 27 club. Listing to his musical and lyrical heritage, it is beautiful.
Keith Haring
Keith Haring artworks first emerged in the train station in the very late 70s in NYC. His iconic simple line drawing had such an impact and he was the master of storytelling with just a few lines.
Andy Warhol
Andy being such an influence on relying heavily on pop culture and don't shy away from monetizing your art. Coming from advertising like myself, I always liked his approachable art.
